As he participated in the captivating Chaitanya Leela and Ras Leela, lasting nearly a month, Maharaj Ji was spellbound by the divine manifestations and the ecstatic expressions of devotion. However, upon the conclusion of these events, he found himself yearning for more, driven by a longing to experience the Ras Leela again. On a significant day, Goswami Ji recited a verse from the revered text Shri Radharasa Sudhanidhi. Despite Maharaj Ji's considerable expertise in Sanskrit, he found himself grappling with the intricate nuances of its profound meaning. In response to his struggle, Goswami Ji kindly encouraged him to immerse himself in the chanting of the name of Shri Harivansh. Although initially hesitant, Maharaj Ji's resolve strengthened during his parikrama of Vrindavan the following day, when he unexpectedly found himself chanting that sacred name, invigorated by the grace of Shri Hit Harivansh Mahaprabhu. Disregarding the conventional rules associated with his sannyas, Maharaj Ji implored the gopi to elucidate the meaning of the enchanting verse. With a gentle smile, she replied that to truly comprehend its essence, he would need to embrace the path of Radha Vallabh.
Inspired by this revelation, Maharaj Ji ardently sought initiation from the esteemed Shri Hit Mohit Maral Goswami Ji, thereby actualizing the prophetic insights of the Goswami lineage. He was ceremoniously initiated into the Radha Vallabh Sampradaya with the sacred Sharanagat mantra. Shortly there at the behest of Goswami Ji, Maharaj Ji had the auspicious opportunity to meet his beloved guru, the illustrious saint Shri Hit Gaurangi Sharan Ji Maharaj, a preeminent figure in the Sakhya bhav tradition (the mood of divine companionship). He graciously conferred upon Maharaj Ji the initiation into Sakhya bhav and Nityavihar Ras (the eternal pastimes), along with his personal mantra, further deepening Maharaj Ji's spiritual journey.
